HIGH-PERFORMANCE VERSATILITY

The ULTRA-CAPABLE VR platform is built to tackle challenging group rides, diverse terrains, and extended adventures. Its exceptional performance is a result of our extensive experience in pushing the boundaries of carbon fiber construction and design over decades. The VR's design philosophy follows a "form follows function" approach, meticulously configuring each frame element to deliver an unparalleled riding experience.

ADVANCED BRAKING AND STABILITY

Equipped with disc brakes and thru-axles, the VR sets a new standard in road bike technology. Disc brakes offer superior stopping power, enhanced modulation, and consistent performance in all weather conditions, outperforming traditional rim brakes. For racers and enthusiasts focused on performance, disc brakes contribute to improved handling and overall control, while also accommodating larger tires for enhanced comfort and ride dynamics.

SEAMLESS EQUIPMENT INTEGRATION

To boost the VR's adaptability, the frame features concealed rack mounts and the option for a proprietary fender kit that seamlessly integrates with the overall design. Additionally, top tube mounts are available for attaching a "bento box" style storage bag. The two-bolt setup, with standard water bottle cage spacing, provides riders with the flexibility to use a variety of aftermarket storage solutions.

OPTIMIZED FOR ENDURANCE

With modern geometry and a robust bottom bracket, the VR excels in both high-performance scenarios and extended rides across diverse surfaces. The disc-only frame design eliminates the need for a rim caliper mount, allowing for slender seat stays that enhance comfort. Positioned outboard of the seat tube, these seat stays also contribute to lateral stiffness. The VR is meticulously crafted to deliver an optimized, all-day riding experience.

VR series. Officially, to pass ISO with a 42 clearance circle, we can only recommend a 30mm tire. However, depending on tire and rim combinations, in some cases 32-34 labeled tire may fit.

This bike comes partially assembled, about 80%, with a difficulty level of 5/10. Some of the tasks required include connecting and installing the Di2 battery, making brake and shift adjustments, installing the front wheel and rotor, and assembling the handlebar with bar tape wrapping. To retain the full warranty from Felt, it is recommended that the bike be assembled by a reputable bike shop. It doesn’t need to be a Felt dealer, just a brick-and-mortar store with experience. Please retain both the build invoice and your proof of purchase from us, as they may be needed if you need to file a warranty claim in the future.

Great bike and price

I almost couldn't believe what I was unpacking when I got it (in only 3 days). Whoa. Carbon wheels? And, electronic shifting with wireless shifters, plus the 12 speed RD capacity to gear down to 36 rear cogs. Wow!!
I'd called with a few questions that were handled well, so pulled the trigger. So glad to get all I did for $2K. If I had need for another, I'd go for it.
I know it is an older model and maybe can't get much wider tires on it (but 32mm works fine), but I'm very pleased and look forward to spring when warmer weather will allow a more thorough testing and putting it through it's paces. I'm confident my initial glee will be reinforced.
Thanks.

Best deal in cycling

If you are on the fence about this bike, let me assuage your fears. This thing is a rocket and it's freaking gorgeous too. I was skeptical and Wheel and Sprocket politely and patiently answered my inane questions. I just needed to talk to someone before I pulled the trigger, you know?
Also it shipped faster than Amazon prime. I can't wait to get this thing dialed in and on the road.

the guy saying it's missing a part threw it away

The end caps are there: It was in the plastic cover over the wheel hubs.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I9f4eQg6CGM 6:23 minutes into this video of another bike assembly and he warns you not to lose em.

Also, he can't read. You're supposed to have it assembled by a professional to keep the warrant with Felt lol. Cannot believe someone would complain at this price. It's worth it, best bike I've ever owned and all my friends are jealous lol.

Missing Front Tire Part

Took my bike in to my local shop to be built and found out the front tire is missing a piece. Tried to order a replacement (which should be unnecessary) but they are out of stock. Currently waiting to see if I will be sent a replacement part or if I have to return the bike entirely. In my case, this deal was too good to be true.

Cory, it sounds like something got lost in the unboxing process here. Not to worry though. We'll get you squared away with what you need ASAP an on the road with your new bike!

No Assembly Instructions Included

Bike seems great, but arrived with a box of loose parts to complete the build with no instructions on how to assemble everything. Pretty sloppy for such an expensive bike that I now am forced to take to a dealer for assembly because I have no direction.

Cory, I'm sorry to hear that it was a surprise to you that the bike would need to be assembled by a llocal bike shop. We do try to make that clear in the description. Having been to the Big Island myself I know it can be tough to find a shop so that must have added some inconvenience Again I apologize for that.
