Designed for select Bontrager Rapid Drive 108 Boost rear hubs requiring a six-pawl Shimano Micro Spline freehub assembly. Rapid Drive hub parts are configuration-specific, so the hub name or cassette speed alone does not guarantee compatibility.
Compare the pawl layout, end-cap interface, bearing and seal surfaces, axle diameter, hub spacing, and overall profile with the original assembly before purchasing. This freehub is not compatible with conventional Shimano HG, SRAM XD, or SRAM XDR cassettes.
Installation Notes
Inspect and clean the hub’s ratchet ring, axle, bearings, seals, pawls, and springs before installation. Use the lubricant specified by Bontrager, confirm that every pawl moves freely, and make sure the drive-side end cap is fully seated. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with rear hub service.
