This is a specialized Trek-specific Thru Shaft shock. A standard 210 x 55mm rear shock should not automatically be considered interchangeable.
The 55mm-stroke version should also not be substituted for a 210 x 52.5mm shock unless Trek specifically approves the change for the exact bicycle model and frame configuration. Additional stroke may affect suspension travel and frame, linkage, or tire clearance.
