This CeramicSpeed BB90 bearing is specifically made for the non-drive side of Trek road bikes using the BB90 bottom bracket standard and SRAM GXP cranks. With a 22x37x7mm bearing size and integrated dust cover, it is designed to fit directly into the frame shell without cups, maintaining a clean and lightweight setup.
The non-drive side of the GXP system uses a smaller 22mm ID bearing to support the stepped-down end of the spindle, and this bearing delivers the low-friction, high-precision performance CeramicSpeed is known for.
Why CeramicSpeed?
CeramicSpeed bearings are hand-built in Denmark and feature Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls, matched with ultra-polished hardened steel raceways. The result is a bearing with incredibly low rolling resistance and exceptional longevity. A reinforced polyamide cage holds the balls in place, and non-contact seals keep out contaminants without adding drag.
Lubricated with CeramicSpeed's Blue Grease, these bearings are optimized for all disciplines—road, triathlon, CX, track, and MTB. Each unit is hand-checked four times during production to ensure perfect tolerances and performance.
Compared to standard steel bearings, CeramicSpeed balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder, and 58% lighter. Against typical ceramic options, they are 15% harder, take 99% higher loads, and are 100% smoother.
