The Cane Creek AER integrated upper headset assembly is an ultralight option designed for riders looking to reduce weight without giving up dependable headset performance.
This IS41 / 28.6mm upper assembly uses Cane Creek’s lightweight Norglide upper bearing system and a precision-machined aluminum upper cover. With a 15mm top stack height and claimed weight of only 17g, it is well suited to lightweight road, gravel, XC, and race-oriented builds using the correct integrated headset standard.
This is an upper headset assembly only, not a complete upper/lower headset.

Important Note
This component should not be confused with the small preload stem top cap that bolts into a star nut or expander plug. This is the upper integrated headset cover/bearing assembly that sits between the frame and stem/spacer stack.
