Product Description
The Bontrager DuoTrap S is an integrated speed and cadence sensor designed for compatible Trek bicycle frames with a dedicated DuoTrap S chainstay mounting location.
The sensor transmits ride data using both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, allowing connection with compatible cycling computers, smartphones, and fitness devices. Its frame-integrated design provides a clean installation without externally mounting the sensor body to the frame with zip ties.
The kit includes the wheel magnet, crank cadence magnet/band, and CR2032 battery needed for installation.
IMPORTANT: DuoTrap S vs. DuoTrap
DuoTrap S and the original DuoTrap are different sensors and should not be assumed interchangeable.
They use different frame mounting configurations even though both perform similar speed/cadence functions. Before purchasing, inspect your bike’s chainstay sensor cover/opening and confirm that your specific Trek frame is DuoTrap S compatible.
If your bicycle is designed for the original DuoTrap rather than DuoTrap S, this sensor is not the correct replacement. Trek identifies them separately as DuoTrap PN 508126 and DuoTrap S PN 437960.
