The Shimano Deore XT M8220 Disc Brake Upgrade Kit is a complete hydraulic brake set built for riders who want powerful, consistent braking with improved ergonomics and control on aggressive trail and enduro terrain. This kit pairs BL-M8200 levers with BR-M8220 4-piston calipers to deliver Shimano’s strongest XT braking performance in the M8200 family.
The updated BL-M8200 lever design uses a revised pivot position that better follows the natural arc of your finger, while reach adjust helps dial in fit and feel. The BR-M8220 calipers use a dual-diameter 4-piston layout for high braking power and strong modulation, and Shimano’s new low viscosity mineral oil helps maintain a reliable bite point in a wide range of temperatures and trail conditions.
This upgrade kit includes front and rear levers, front and rear calipers, BH90 hoses with connectors, two pad compounds for each caliper, and 100ml of low-viscosity mineral oil.
