Product Description
The Trek RSL Aero Water Bottle and Cage combines hydration with aerodynamic performance in a lightweight race-ready system.

Originally developed around the Trek Madone Gen 8, the RSL Aero system is not limited to Trek bikes. It mounts to most bikes that accept a standard water bottle cage, and Trek's aerodynamic testing found the system provided aero benefits on other race bikes as well.

The sculpted RSL Aero bottle fits closely into the OCLV Carbon cage for a streamlined profile, while the cage remains versatile enough to securely hold a standard round cycling bottle when needed.

Available in multiple color combinations. Select your preferred color from the variation menu.

Compatibility
The RSL Aero system was specifically developed to complement the Full System Foil shaping of Trek Madone Gen 8, but it is not exclusive to that bike.

Trek states that the RSL Aero Bottle and Cage can be mounted to most bikes that can use a standard round bottle cage, including bikes from other manufacturers.

Compatible applications can include:

  • Trek Madone Gen 8

  • Other Trek road bikes with standard bottle cage mounts

  • Compatible road race bikes from other brands

  • Other bicycles with appropriate standard bottle cage mounting points and sufficient frame clearance

For maximum aerodynamic benefit, Trek recommends minimizing the gaps between the frame and bottles. Actual aerodynamic benefit will vary depending on the bike, frame shape, bottle position, and overall setup.

Standard Bottle Compatibility
The RSL Aero Carbon Cage is specifically shaped for the RSL Aero Bottle but also securely holds standard round cycling water bottles, making it practical for everyday use and racing.
