Description:
The Shimano EW-SD300 Di2 e-Tube Wire (600mm) is part of Shimano’s second-generation Di2 wiring system, built to support the latest 12-speed road and eBike drivetrains with a more compact and faster data transfer design. Lighter and thinner than the previous SD50 models, the SD300 series wires are designed for internal or external routing and are compatible with systems like Shimano Dura-Ace R9250, Ultegra R8150, EP8/EP800, and STePS.
These e-Tube wires feature smaller diameter plugs (3.45mm) and a thinner 2.4mm cord, increasing flexibility for modern, streamlined bike builds. The SD300 is not backward compatible with older Di2 systems without the use of an adapter such as the AD-305. With the move to wireless shifter setups in newer road groups, the SD300 wire plays a critical role connecting the internal battery (BT-DN300) directly to the front and rear derailleurs.
