The Trek Fuel EX Project One Gen 6 frameset is a lightweight, modern trail platform built for riders who want to create a fully custom bike around Trek’s versatile Fuel EX chassis. Constructed from Trek’s premium OCLV Mountain Carbon, this frame is engineered to balance stiffness, compliance, and trail capability, with progressive geometry that adds confidence on descents while maintaining strong pedaling efficiency on climbs.

Designed around 140mm of rear travel, the Fuel EX Gen 6 features Trek’s proven ABP suspension design, adjustable geometry, adjustable leverage rate, and internal downtube storage for a clean and capable trail build. Guided internal routing, a magnesium rocker link, and integrated frame protection round out a frameset made for aggressive everyday trail riding.

This Project One version is offered as a bare frameset only and is ideal for riders planning a fully custom build. No rear shock, headset, axle, hardware kits, or other small parts are included. Only the items shown in the photos are included.

When assembled by an authorized Trek dealer, this frameset is eligible for Trek’s full manufacturer warranty. Because compatibility can vary depending on your intended build, Trek recommends working with a local Trek dealer to select the proper components.
